The Lagree Single Leg Squat

The Single Leg Squat is all about that bass…minus the “b.” Loading your Mega with 1 Yellow spring, you’ll stand at the front of the machine, facing the side, with the foot of your working leg planted on the platform, and just the toes of your supporting leg placed on the carriage.

As you sit down and back into the squat, and then slowly rise up again, you should feel most of the effort coming from your glutes, hamstrings, and outer thigh (quads.) Drawing in your core throughout the movement will provide stability, allow you to stay light on your non-working leg, and protect your low back as you squat. On this light, “slippery” spring load, you should also feel your inner thigh muscles contracting for stabilization and support.
